| Woody: Martz's exit is improvement
Everybody knows (LaDainian Tomlinson) and the Chargers are going to run, but they still do it. The Chargers just run a couple of plays - you know L.T. is going to run the Power-O -- but you've got to stop it." Woody said the Lions offense hasn't been truly committed to the run since the second half of the 2004 season. Rookie running back Kevin Jones rushed for 806 yards in the final eight games -- more than any other running back in the league. "That was my first year and it was the only time that we had a semblance of that. We ran the ball as well as any team in the league," Woody said. "I have no idea why we changed the next year. Maybe it was because we drafted (receiver) Mike Williams and our philosophy changed, I don't know. But we were good at running the ball (in 2004) and we stuck with it.

Bush Lauds Progress in Iraq, Economic Plan
At the same time, the president warned that withdrawing U.S. troops from the situation too quickly could bring al-Qaida roaring back and allow sectarian fighting to resume. Bush said 20,000 troops were coming home and would not be replaced, but that further withdrawals would await the judgment of commanders in the field. "While the enemy is still dangerous and more work remains, the American and Iraqi surges have achieved results few of us could have imagined just one year ago," he said. Tax Cuts and the Stimulus Package The president also urged Congress to pass the $150 billion economic stimulus package he had worked out with leaders of both parties in both chambers. He said it would relieve anxiety about a slowdown in job growth and a decline in the housing market.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
CONSUMER ADVICE PUBLIC TRANSPORT Since the mid-1990s, there has been a noticeable improvement in Greece's public transportation systems, including the ferry networks serving the islands. Bus and trolley routes are now served by new fleets, while a new mass transit system in Athens - the metro - has helped relieve congestion in the capital's centre. The 2004 Olympics provided the impetus for improvements in public transport, which include the reintroduction of the tram as a link between the southern coastal suburbs and downtown Athens. Tram The tram has three lines: from Neos Kosmos (metro station) to Hellenic Olympic Complex (Agios Kosmas) and from Glyfada to the Peace and Friendship Stadium (alongside the Faliro Sports Complex). The third line runs from Syntagma to Glyfada.
