| Republican rivals open final assault in Florida
LOOK AT US NOW.. We women or most of us resent being put in the closet until people like you are ready to let us out. I stand up for my right's as an american and a woman. and I will vote Hillary. and I also agree Bill should take a break and control his mouth and temper. Yes he should back up his wife, but in the right manner. Every man who is a man should stand up for their woman. But i think the women are having to fight their husbands battles. AWWW Shame on you. I do think it is time for change. But Obama has not told us WHAT CHANGE. sorry I can't vote on that. But don't matter who it is they all give us hope and promises they don't keep. And why is it gay men can serve their country, as long as it is secret, But why can't gay women. I saw that on the commentary last night. could it be because you men feel we haven't earned our rights yet.

TechNotes: News and views from the world of technologyPeople are instead choosing to buy the cheaper, easier-to-use analogue sets, leaving the modern version sitting on the shelves. .
CNN.com readers offer keys to secret of McCain's success
He can send our forces overseas, if need be, having been there and not just having read about it. I also believe that he would do what is right for the American people, and not kowtow to fringe supporters. While I would vote for the Democratic nominee first, McCain is the only Republican potential that I could support. P.S. -- In case it wasn't clear, all of the above attributes are ones that our current President lacks. Skylar Evans of Austin, Texas Once again, we are in a time when the negative dynamics of politics have become overwhelmingly transparent. It seems more than anything, that the people want sincerity. They want someone that is believable, someone that they can "believe in." I think this is why many are willing, in the case of Obama, to gladly welcome and accept honesty and integrity over experience in office.
Subdivision proposed for old OSCVI site
A 60-lot subdivision of mostly single-storey brick townhouses is what local developer Barry Kruisselbrink has planned for the former OSCVI property. The 6.5-acre site just off 10th Street East just east of Owen Sound's downtown has been a vacant field since the former high school was levelled in 1999. Barry's Construction and Insulation Ltd., owned by Kruisselbrink, has submitted a draft plan of the subdivision to city hall, along with an application to change zoning from institutional to residential. A public meeting is to be held Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at city hall before the applications are considered by council. Kruisselbrink said if all approvals are granted, he hopes to begin servicing work in the summer or fall and building homes by the following spring.
Something for Everyone
Whether you decide to go for a quiet stroll around the bay, stock up on souvenirs at the several malls in the area, get a henna tattoo, smoke shisha or party the night away, the city guarantees a night of fun. When it comes to pubs, clubs and parties, you wont be short of options in Sharm. Try Pacha, franchise of the Ibiza megaclub, or Bus Stop, both located in Sanafir hotel. Hard Rock is a favorite, and the newly opened Little Buddha (designed like the international chain Buddha Bar, but not affiliated) is worth checking out. The clubs often have special theme parties, and cater to the music tastes of most, offering nights of R&B and house among others. Pacha also often holds parties in the Temple of Sound, located in a desert valley, where you can enjoy a taste of Sharms rugged interior as well as dance the night away to the sounds of international DJs.
Burley hits out at Pompey
Here we go again the the Pompey fans that can spell (almost] have come out of the woodwork. I couldn't care less what Pompey do, all I'm interested in is how Saints are getting on. We had nearly 30 years in the top division while they went up and down the lower divisions. Now it's their day in the sun, until the money runs out. As for Dyer after his performance against Cardiff they can have him. He gave the ball away so often I wondered who he was playing for! .
Woman wins lawsuit against drug dealer
Sandy Bergen, 23, accused her former kindergarten classmate, Clinton Davey, of selling her the drug in the town of Biggar, Sask., in 2004. KOVALAINEN HAS HIGH HOPES
The 26-year-old Finn made the switch from Renault for 2008 but although he's eager to compete at the top of the drivers' championship he knows he must be patient at first as he gets used to life in a new team. He said: "Of course joining a very ambitious team I have to be aiming for a competitive season and to be able to fight for a good position in the Championship. "However the priority for me in the build-up to the season is to get to know the team and understand how they work. "The aim is to get to Melbourne and when the lights go off be as prepared as I can be, so that at the end of the race, whatever the result, we are able to say that there wasn't anything more that we could have done better. "So my main aim is to prepare and then from there start to improve and score as many points as I can." Kovalainen finished seventh in the drivers' standings last year with 30 points and feels his debut season taught him how hard he must work to achieve his goals.
