Hopper, of Studio 417, returned recently from New York where she learned about 2008 trends in color products. She says there are four basic groups of upcoming looks: - Cool blondes and powder browns with soft highlights and tone-on-tone color. "It's a more natural, soft look," she says. "It's used with haircuts with a lot of movement. It's more relaxed with not a lot of obvious product." - Bolder looks, appealing to sassy women who feel comfortable with self-expression. "It's an all-over color with a surprise contrasting color," she says. "Often with a hidden effect." - More ash tones in dark browns, blacks, deep reds and plums. - Shade variations, which are probably the most popular trend right now, she says: "It's more undertone. You see more color gradients with darks to lights in the same color family." Covering Gray Using shade variations is a good way to disguise gray hair, stylists say.

Patriots' backup quarterback is happy playing himself
What's Tom like?" they ask. "Is he as good-looking as they say he is?" "How's his ankle? Is he playing Sunday?" On and on it goes, a broken record playing the soundtrack of Cassel's life. "It's easy for me to talk about Tom," he said. "Because there are nothing but good things to say about him." Through all of Brady mania, through a sports lifetime spent as a backup quarterback, Cassel remains remarkably his own man. He led a California youth baseball team to the Little League World Series. He starred at Chatsworth High School in California in football and baseball. He played one season of baseball at USC, and the Oakland A's picked him in the 36th round of the 2004 draft. "Matt's a goofball," fullback Heath Evans said.
Prima ballerina, then top teacher
Lisa Boehm brought her love of ballet and her skills as a prima ballerina in pre-World War II Europe to thousands of students during the 50 years that she taught dance in Elgin. "She achieved the highest rank of ballet that one can achieve," said her son, Frank. He said his mother was the principal ballerina in a company that performed in prewar Berlin, Paris and Milan. Mrs. Boehm also directed the Chicago area's longest-running series of performances of "The Nutcracker" ballet, which featured her students and visiting dancers and attracted audiences to Elgin's Hemmens Cultural Center for 33 years until its last full production in 2002. .
Hip-Hop Rumors: Chingy Gets Mad! Is Lauryn Broke? Where is Wendy ...
All my Delaware, Philly and South Jersey people, I have the low down on where Wendy Williams and Charlamange went! From what I heard, there is a lot of corporate and business wrangling over Wendy in the city of Brotherly Love on Power 99 FM. I don't have specifics, but they are looking to return to Philly's airwaves asap. The only thing is, it might not be on Power 99. You know, where Wendy goes, the people go. I am pleased to announced that according to what I know, Wendy and C are going to be landing in Los Angeles later this month. That's what Beyonce calls a good look better yet a hood look. LAURYN BROKE? Damn, damn, damn! Laurun is possibly broke? Yes, says sources at Fox News Sources say Hill was living in the Caribbean for a while as the mother of four children by Rohan Marley, son of the late Bob Marley.
Raw Data: Excerpts from the State of the Union Address
From expanding opportunity to protecting our country, we have made good progress. Yet we have unfinished business before us, and the American people expect us to get it done. In the work ahead, we must be guided by the philosophy that made our Nation great. As Americans, we believe in the power of individuals to determine their destiny and shape the course of history…So in all we do, we must trust in the ability of free people to make wise decisions, and empower them to improve their lives and their futures. On the economy: To build a prosperous future, we must trust people with their own money and empower them to grow our economy. As we meet tonight, our economy is undergoing a period of uncertainty… And at kitchen tables across our country, there is concern about our economic future.
