Fish Sticks serves laughs for fund-raisers

It's fun to play around and see what develops. Some people find it terrifying to get up there when it's unscripted, some get a charge out of it, and I get a charge out of it."

Improvisational and participatory

ComedySportz is an unscripted, improvisational comedy show where audience members are asked to participate in sketches or shout out ideas to the actors on stage. The television show, "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" is an example of improv comedy, similar to ComedySportz and Fish Sticks.

Shiller, a Christian, was brainstorming ideas with Dave Rust, a fellow member of Milwaukee's ComedySportz.

"Dave and I share a faith and had thoughts of how we could use this for a higher purpose," said Shiller. "We wanted to make sure the line wasn't blurred; we wanted it squeaky clean.

Kucinich Postpones Bush Impeachment Effort

Dennis has been pushing hard on impeachment when no one else would. He has now decided to postpone (end) his push for impeachment. He knows that it's just too fucking late and that most of Congress including the Democriters are not up for it. They are up for enjoying the enhanced power of the Executive Branch GW brought for their own purposes, since they think they will win this year. I have my doubts. If Hillary gets the nomination and runs against say, McCain she could loose. This is a very sexist nation after all. If Obama runs he has a better chance except for all the racists in the US. They could decide to vote for the first time in years, to keep the “negro" out of the White House. (They don't call it the White House for nothing) It's too bad and I have no faith in the system anymore.

Oil spill tops list of 2007's biggest stories in Marin

Lagoon, a habitat for shorebirds, seals and migratory birds.

In addition, the Coast Guard and other government agencies seemed unable to handle the thousands of volunteers who offered to help rescue birds and restore the Bay Area's beaches. Muir Beach resident Sigward Moser was arrested for leading a group of 20 Zen monks-in-training to clean the beach near his home.

County officials expect oil to continue washing up on local beaches through January, and Marin's shores may require cleaning .

Plaxico's prediction doesn't upset Giant teammates

But no one criticized him for saying Monday that the Giants will beat the Patriots, 23-17. For a team that's been counted out before each of its last two playoff wins, no one thinks victory is out of reach against the perfect Pats.

"Are we supposed to say we're going to lose? What do you want us to say?" Antonio Pierce said yesterday at Super Bowl Media Day. "We want to win the game. We're not here to be second-best to anybody. We came here to win a game. If you want to consider that a guarantee, it's not. We're not going to think negative and say we're going to lose and have the same perception everybody else has about us."

Test scores keep former prospect searching for a school

Dwight Jones was a Parade All-American and regarded as the No. 1 college prospect in North Carolina as a senior at Burlington’s Cummings High School in 2006. Dozens of major college programs were offering him scholarships.

But now the gifted 6-foot-4, 210-pound wide receiver is in the uncomfortable position of finding a school that can admit him after his latest attempt at meeting the required entrance exam score fell short.

“My high school coach is trying to talk to some schools,’’ Jones said Tuesday morning. “He was talking to West Virginia, but he found out they don’t take Prop 48 players. Other than that, he’s just trying to find other schools.’’

Jones signed a national letter-of-intent with North Carolina last February, but he came up short on meeting academic entrance requirements to the Atlantic Coast Conference school.

Trading scandal diverts attention from Société Générale's subprime ...

I am reading about this scandal, and I am suprised about the outcome for this investigation. The bootom-line isMr. Kerviel has no guilty mind, consequently no crime committed by suspect. The Bank- Society General- has duty to shareholders to do everything to make sure to not losing any money. I am hoping the french law has the same international legal concept:if no guilty mind it is no crime, like-nullum crimen sine lege ! Maximum:Mr, Kerviel fired from the job as trader !

Sincerely, dr. Karoly Pekala international lawyer from San Francisco
